Kathleen, Practice Manager & Lola & Wanda
We welcomed Kathleen to our practice in 2013 as a receptionist. In 2016, she was promoted to Practice Manager where she oversees the staff and hospital operations. She has completed her coursework in veterinary practice management at Patterson Veterinary University.
In 2012 she earned a degree in Architecture from The University of Kansas, Lawrence, Kansas but after graduating, realized that her passion for animals was too great to ignore. She fulfilled her devotion to pets by working as the Shelter Manager of the Humane Society of Greater Kansas City before moving to Lawrence to join our team.
She remains passionate about pet rescue and has adopted many animals with various medical and behavioral problems, and has fostered many more. Her current furry family consists of Buddy, a Foxhound/Boxer mix, Lola, a French Bulldog, and Wanda, a Cornish Rex.
Kathleen is supportive of local business, agriculture, and art. She enjoys all things outdoors, enjoying a meal on a patio, walking her dogs downtown or stocking up at the farmer’s market.
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns relating to your pets or your visits at Lawrence Veterinary Hospital, you can reach out to Kathleen by calling or sending her an email.
