Dr. Kraft has continually demonstrated his advocacy for pets since founding his hospital in 1981, creating the Wanda Fund, making monetary and other donations to the Lawrence and Jackson Co Humane Societies, donating pet oxygen masks to the Lawrence Fire Department and making monthly monetary donations to the Kansas State Pet Tribute Fund to honor all those who have shown compassionate care and love for companion animals.
THE WANDA FUND
for the Lawrence Veterinary Hospital Client and Patient Community
In the summer of 2013, Lawrence Veterinary Hospital, Lawrence, Kansas, created a fund to benefit our clients and their pets after we adopted Wanda. Our goal is to accumulate donations to put toward critical emergency care for client pets in the event that an emergency life-saving procedure is unable to be performed due to lack of funds and would otherwise end in the euthanasia of their pet.
Although it is a rare occasion clients and our veterinarians must make this difficult choice, we have been faced with this issue before and Wanda has come to the rescue! We are advocates for pets and love them like our family.
Funds are collected through sales of catnip toys and personalized pet ID tags. Stop by our lobby any time to check out the selection.
It is at the Doctor’s discretion to utilize the funds available.
We thank you for your support!
