Veterinary Care Payment
We require that you pay for your pet’s veterinary care, in full, when services are rendered.
We accept cash, checks (with current ID), debit cards, credit cards, and Care Credit*
*When unexpected illness strikes, unexpected expenses strike as well. Lawrence Veterinary Hospital understands, and is able to accept Care Credit payments. Care Credit is a credit card that can be used on healthcare expenses for you and your pet. Care Credit offers low and no interest payment plans – making the necessary healthcare more affordable. You can apply yourself at www.CareCredit.com.
Pet Health Insurance
Having pet health insurance is just as important as insuring your own health, but it is handled a little differently with pets than people. If you need help understanding pet health insurance, or a recommendation on choosing a provider, you can contact our knowledgeable staff for assistance. We do not specifically endorse one company over another, but our staff can explain some of the differences between the insurance providers so that you can make an informed decision that is right for you and your pet.
When it comes time to submit a claim, our staff is happy to help you submit it. However, at this time, every insurance provider requires you to pay your bill in full at the time services are rendered. When the claim is submitted and approved, your company will send you your reimbursement check. So if you have pet health insurance – that is great! – but you still need to be prepared to pay your pet’s bill at the time of service.
