Erin, Lead Kennel Attendant & Cooper
We welcomed Erin to our practice in 2012 as a Kennel Attendant. She was promoted to Lead Kennel attendant in 2016. She holds a degree in Physical Education, specializing in coaching, from Benedictine College, Atchison, Kansas in 2009. Erin cares for both canine and feline boarders, and is particularly skilled at taking care of special-needs pets. Her nurturing quality and attention to detail are traits that make her an excellent Lead Kennel Attendant.
She has always had a love for dogs, a passion that was passed down to her from her late father. In particular, she loves puppies and delights in caring for them at the hospital—giving them a bit extra TLC in addition to her other duties.
Erin is also employed part-time as an Extended Care Provider at Corpus Christi Catholic School, Lawrence, Kansas. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, especially her niece and nephews. Erin is pictured here with Cooper, a beautiful Akita who belongs to her neighbor – Erin often has the pleasure of taking care of Cooper and enjoys his company since she does not have a dog of her own.
