We proudly provide Fear Free service to ensure that every visit is as pleasant for your pet as it is for you. We take extra steps to ensure a fear-free experience for our patients:
● Using pheromones (Adaptil, Feliway) in the hospital and on the medical team’s clothes to naturally calm the animals,
● Keeping cats separate from dogs whenever appropriate, having non-slip mats on exam and treatment tables,
● Using gentle animal restraint methods. Gentle restraint examples may include using delicious treats when doing simple procedures (checking a patient’s vitals, examining and vaccinating) so that the pet doesn’t mind the procedure because they are so focused on the yummy treat! We also use conscientious and patient-focused sedation when a pet would benefit from it.
